How We Authenticate
How a piece earns its place here. Every step, before anything is listed.
01 — Where pieces come from
Most of what we sell comes from established wholesale suppliers. Occasionally we buy directly from a brand's own boutique, and when we do, the listing says so. We do not source from social media sellers, unverified marketplaces, or anonymous suppliers.
02 — Independent authentication
Authentication is selective, not automatic. Where a piece calls for it, we have it authenticated by a trusted independent service such as LegitGrails, chosen to suit that piece. When a piece has been authenticated, its listing names the service and gives a certificate number you can verify yourself before you buy. Where a piece has not been authenticated, the listing says that too.
03 — Honest condition grading
We photograph and describe wear rather than hiding it. Corner rubbing, patina, hardware scratches, cracking and interior marks are named in every listing and shown up close. Every photograph is of the actual item you receive.
04 — Our guarantee
If an item we sell is determined not to be authentic by a recognised independent authentication service, we refund the original purchaser in full.
The full process, and what each condition grade means, is set out on our authentication page.
We would rather you buy with certainty than buy quickly.
